Kid and Winnie have arrived!

I'm going to post now while I have a chance. Kid and Winnie are taking a nap, since they didn't get much sleep last night.

They got here just about 11, and it was so good to see them! They are so impressed with the palm trees, the flowers and cactus and just about everything. We went to my favorite Mexican restaurant and I treated them to mashed potato rolled tacos. They are totally delicious, and they both loved them!

Then I got an order to go, and took them to see the auto museum, and meet Poolie. Poolie showed us around a bit, and then we walked up to see some of the sights of Balboa Park, and then came home.

The girls like my place, and they LOVE my bed! In fact, Kid "tested" it out, and hasn't moved in the last half hour. They really want to go see the ocean, so we will do that next, and then maybe stop for pizza somewhere on the way back. I'm not too sure that lunch didn't fill them up for the day....

What fun! Stay tuned for more updates and possibly pictures. The beach is next!
