I was sure I was supposed to work at 11:45 today, but when I looked at my calendar this morning, it said 11. I had to find the slip of paper I wrote my schedule on just to double check. I really hate to call work to find out when I'm supposed to be there. I think it makes a person look irresponsible to do that.

I wasn't disappointed about that, either. I am glad to get out of there a little earlier. I just am not real fond of the 11-7:30. The time just seems to drag between 4:30 and 6:30, and then it picks up just before I'm supposed to count out my drawer and go.

Although I did manage to get to returns twice today. I like that! And I know the HCs like that they can send me there with a minimum of fuss. I think I'm working there tomorrow, too..

And tomorrow is the day I find out if I'm one of the two new head cashiers. Send your good vibes my way... I'm sure keeping my fingers crossed! I'm hoping that even if I don't get the HC job that I can snag one of the two full time slots that are open now.. and it would be nice to be able to spend all my time in returns.

Yeah.. I can dream.
