Lunch with Poolie in a garden

So here I am today, on my day off, lunching with Poolie. There is a picnic area behind one of the other museums, and it's by a great little cactus garden. So we sat and talked, and then walked around and took some pictures.

And here's Poolagirl

There were some really big cacti!

I love these big barrel cactus. I put my purse in between them so you could get an idea of size.. they put my little barrel cactus that's about six inches wide to shame!

This one was flowering, and it was beautiful!

Beautiful plants on a gorgeous day. Just part of why I love San Diego!

Loved the pictures and the cacti.....here in Indiana we don't get to see the cactus flowers very often unless they are glued on in Mexico and then brought here.
