Made it to Tombstone in record time!

Theratqueen and I left San Diego this morning at 5:45 to make the long trek to Tombstone. We stopped once for gas, and twice more to use the facilities, and we arrived in Tombstone about 1PM (San Diego time). Woot! Hugs were shared by all!

It was a beautiful, sunny ride down through the mountains. We do go past a few farms that are green, but the only other greenery we saw were saguaros. If you like mountains and cacti, it was lovely!

We spent time with the lovely casa-rosie just catching up on things and she made us all smoothies. Yummy!! Meg and I both stood up for a while, since we were a bit tired of sitting. It's beautiful here in Tombstone, about 75 degrees.... cooler now that the sun is down.

Meg figured out the password for the local hotel's internet access, so we are true pirates today, stealing bandwidth. Heh.

No plans yet for tonight, no pictures posted yet. More later..

That was a fast trip. Glad you are enjoying the weather and the company too. Can't wait to see photos and hear all the news.
