Memorial Day happiness

What a nice day off, and how coincidental that it happened on a holiday. I even got paid for four hours today to sit at home and drink tequila!

I didn't drink that much... just a shot here and there. I certainly didn't drink as much as my neighbor did. Yes, idiot neighbor is back to his old tricks again today, fighting with his girlfriend. He even told her there was "nothing nice" he could say about her. I truly don't understand why she keeps coming back, seeing as how they aren't married and have no kids.

I did my laundry while I listened to them arguing. Jeebus, they need to split up or quit drinking. Or both.

I watched a few movies, made some food, went to the grocery store and just hung around the house watching movies and playing Pogo. I need a down day like this every now and then. And it was great.

Hope everyone else's Memorial Day was as enjoyable as mine!

It was, thanks! Not quite as mellow as yours, but nice just the same. Sorry your butthead neighbor kind of horned in on your nice day. I spent about 2/3s of my life living in apartments and know that drill very well. Some people should be made to live in isolated huts out in the middle of nowhere so their noisy way of going on can't disturb others. ~LA

A nice way to celebrate -- I settled Husband at home with the newspaper and went out to have breakfast with my sister, my son and daughter-in-law, and the world's most beautiful granddaughter!

that's the best kind of day off....getting paid for it! Sounds like you had a great day for relaxation...except for noisy and drunk neighbors.
