A sick Dude

I was adjusting my plant bowls today and some of the branches of the nearby bushes *accidentally* broke off. Oops. I'll have to wait and see what the sun looks like tomorrow, so I know where to move them.

My poor baby boy, otherwise known as Dude, is on his way to the ER as we speak. He is having some severe abdominal pain, and after going to work, and leaving early to go to the clinic, he was sent to the hospital. I feel so horrible that I can't be there with him. I guess this was bound to happen.

Please everyone, send good vibes that it's nothing serious!

Just talked with brother-in-law B and he said Sis and Dude's sister are at the hospital. Sounds like Dude made it there before it ruptured, so he should be in good shape. My prayers and wishes for him.

Thank heavens they caught it before it ruptured! Fortunately it is a pretty routine surgery these days, but that doesn't stop Mom from wanting to be there! Hugs!

Yes, they got it before it ruptured. He was out of surgery and doing fine at the last report! Going home tomorrow! Woot!

Wow, I'm coming in on the tail-end here, when he's out of surgery and on the way home! You can't blink, can ya? Godblessyourheart, Dude, wishing you a quick recovery! And Nance, holy shit, that was hard on you, I know from experience... I'm sitting here right this minute, awake at 3 a.m., wondering and worrying and praying for my daughters... and now YOUR daughter, and your son... it's so friggin' PAINFUL. I wish you peace of mind, hell, I wish us BOTH peace of mind, we can't be everywhere, SHIT, why NOT, why can't we be and REACH everywhere?! And know EVERYTHING. Wait. No. I don't want to know everything... This sucks. Har!! I'm glad Dude's gonna be fine, whew... Godbless!

I didn't read your entry until Thursday morning. I'm so glad Dude is out of surgery and doing well. I can't believe he gets to go home today! Bless your heart, yesterday was such a long stressful day for you. {HUGS}
